If interested, please fill our the Wedding Cake Inquiry Form at the bottom of this page, and Patricia, our Wedding Coordinator, will set up a time for you to pick up a tasting package or enjoy an in-person tasting.

Step Three :: Choose a Flavor, Cake Style, and Schedule Phone Consultation!
After your tasting, you should hopefully have found your wedding cake flavor. Yay! It’s at this time you will email and tell us this information, and we will schedule your wedding cake consultation call with Patricia, our Wedding Coordinator. We have provided below a list of wedding cake style options for you to choose from. If you are unsure, the phone consultation is the perfect time to chat with Patricia and make a decision! We do not hold dates for brides until the contract has been signed and deposit has been paid.
Cake Pricing
All of our cake pricing is based on the exceptional amount of detail and time that we put into each cake, as each layer of the cake is lovingly made by hand. Our specialty menu pricing accounts for the higher cost of some specialty ingredients, such as champagne, fruit, and gluten free flour.
NOTES :: The sizes listed below pertain to the diameter of the cake, not the height. Also, if you are interested in a tiered cake but the number of guests it feeds does not exceed your guest count, we recommend pairing our sampler platter to feed the number of your guest count.

Add-On Option (not available for single delivery)::
In addition to our large “naked-style” cakes, we also offer tasting cups that are the perfect size for any individual person - known as our “Sampler Platter.” This is a great “easy-to-serve” and “Covid-friendly” way to feed all of your guests, and also an opportunity for your guests to try several different flavors!
Sampler Platter :: 35 (2.5 ounce) Tasting Cups - $110
All of our contracted wedding cakes will also include a mini cake to serve as the “top tier” of your cake. This mini cake will immediately be given to the wedding coordinator on-site, or can be scheduled for pick up at our store. All of the main cake at your event can then be served to your guests, and the “top tier” flavor is ready to be frozen for your one year anniversary, or really, to be eaten whenever! :)
Need Guest Gifts or Wedding Favors?
Looking for the perfect party favor for your guests? Gift them with Daughters Baking COOKIES! The perfect snack on the drive home, walk back to their room, or even in their hotel room welcome bag! They also make a delicious addition to a dessert table! We have two flavors, our Salted Brown Sugar and Classic Chocolate Chip (which can also be gluten free). These little guys are priced by the dozen and can be individually wrapped! Always made fresh and only available for weddings. We’d love to make a delicious batch for you and your guests!
Delivery & Setup
Good news! Daughters Baking now offers FREE DELIVERY for all wedding set-ups within the local Birmingham area. Any cake deliveries outside of the Birmingham area (greater than 10 miles from our kitchen location) will be charged an additional delivery fee of 67 cents per mile, the standard 2024 mileage fee to cover gas and mileage. If your wedding is more than two hours away from our kitchen (four hours roundtrip), your wedding will be considered for the Out of Town delivery fee rate. For every additional hour of travel after four hours roundtrip, a fee of $100 per hour will be added onto your total amount.
Holiday Up-Charge: Daughters is not available for weddings on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day, as we value or team’s time with their individual families. For weddings on New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day, there is an uncharge of 25% of the cake price.
In order to maintain overall quality and excellence, we require delivery for all tiered wedding cakes. However, there are exceptions to single-tier cakes (6 inch, 9 inch, or 12 inch cakes) that do not necessarily need to be delivered and can be picked up within our operating hours. If pickup is desired, additional crumb for decorating can be purchased for a small extra fee! Minimum order amount must be $450 for delivery.
Step Four :: Sign the Contract & Pay Deposit
It’s official! You are on the Daughters Baking wedding schedule. We are so excited to partner up and help you celebrate one of the most important memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.
Our gift to all Contracted Weddings: a Complimentary Mini Anniversary Cake to be saved (frozen) for your one year wedding anniversary!! These cuties will be packaged and ready to place in your freezer! Best news is that ALL your wedding cake is available to be cut/served for your wedding guests! Just let us know if you’d like your Complimentary Mini Anniversary Cake to be delivered with your wedding cake or if you’d prefer to schedule a pickup after your wedding day. Contracts for single-tier cakes which are picked up from our storefront will receive their mini cake when the wedding cakes are picked up.
A few things :: Daughters does not provide a cake stand for your cake(s) but have no fear, most wedding venues and catering companies provide this to you. We do offer a traditional silver cake stand as a rental. Please inquire for pricing and a rental agreement. Just make sure you reach out to your wedding planner or venue regarding this. Whatever the base diameter of your cake is, you will need a cake stand at least 2 inches larger. For example, if the base of your cake is 14 inches, you will need a 16 inch cake stand.
Before your wedding day, please send us the information of the point person for that day so we will know where to setup your wedding cake!
